Haas brings 15 years of experience as a communications professional in academic, governmental, and nonprofit organizations. She has worked for organizations that create lasting impacts in the communities they serve including ASU, the Heard Museum, and Central Arizona Project. Haas joined ASU in 2007 as communications program manager for Morrison Institute for Public Policy where she developed outreach strategies to reach legislators, business and community leaders, and citizens with information about critical policy issues. She specializes in translating academic research into messages for key audiences. Haas is passionate about creating vibrant, healthy communities and improving the quality of life for all Arizonans. She lives in downtown Phoenix with her family, teaches yoga, and volunteers at the Phoenix Art Museum.
