Splinter Hemorrhages Following Arterial Puncture

Splinter hemorrhages can be a feature of the antiphospholipid syndrome.  We describe a patient in whon splinter hemorrhages developed following radial artery puncture.  The implications of this finding in patients with the antiphospholipid syndrome are discussed.
